This Guidance Note provides a framework to help guide IMF staff engagement with civil society, updating previous guidelines issued in 2015. Drawing on lessons from more than two decades of engagement and extensive consultations with civil society and IMF staff, the Guidance Note provides a practical framework to help staff deepen engagement with CSOs across the Fund's work.
